Selwo Safari Park is een van 's werelds meest opwindende natuurparken. De grootste in zijn soort in Spanje, het “Afrikaanse stijl” safaripark beschikt over meer dan 2000 soorten dieren die in meer dan 100 hectare grond in semi-wilde omstandigheden leven. Het park is gelegen tussen San Pedro de Alcantara en Estepona, vlak bij de N340. Selwo is veel meer dan een dierentuin omdat de dieren leven in een bijna natuurlijke habitat, met grote ruimtes tussen hen en het publiek. Je kunt alle favorieten zoals leeuwen, tijgers, neushoorns, olifanten, giraffen en beren zien.

Eén ding waar ze in het Selwo geen gebrek aan hebben, de ruimte !

Beleef een prachtige reis door de botanische tuinen, het grote reptiel huis en de prachtige vogel canyon. De twee rondritten die plaatsvinden in “all –terrein” voertuigen nemen u mee door een adembenemend landschap, terwijl de gidsen u een leerzame ervaring aanbieden. Er zijn ook restaurants, drank en verfrissing gelegenheden in het park. Selwo Safari Park is een uitzonderlijke dag uit voor iedereen die van dieren houdt en ze wil zien in een natuurlijke zorgzame omgeving, wat vrij zeldzaam is. Er zijn rondleidingen die plaatsvinden vanuit een terreinwagen met een aantal goede gidsen en veel open wandelingen die veel water en zonnebrandcrème vergen.

Selwo Adventure Park - Estepona

My Favourite of all the Costa Del Sol theme parks! It reminds me of Jurassic Park, large open sided lorries drive you through the various animal enclosures and up into the hills above. There are elephants, bears, hippos and so much more to see.
In the summer cover up as its very hot and not much shelter. Wear sensible shoes. There is also a small farm area.

Cocodrilos Park. Parque de cocodrilos en Torremolinos, Málaga

A purpose built Crocodile Park with 300 Crocodiles. You can have the chance to even hold one!
There are guided tours and shows around the park and even a baby crocodile nursery to see.
There is also a mini zoo, kids play area and cafeteria.

Aventura Amazonia - Marbella

Located just 500m from the beach in Elviria, Aventura Amazonia is a relatively new Costa del Sol attraction which is great fun for all members of the family. It's one of our favourite places to go at the moment and quite safe as there are qualified instructors on hand to see you don't come to any harm.

Offering 83 challenges with 20 ziplines over 6 adventure circuits so you can choose the one which best suits you. They include MiniKids, Kids, Explorador, Jungla, Aventura and Deportivo plus three training circuits. It has the longest treetop zipline in Andalusia which is 240m in length.

The MiniKids area has challenges for young children aged 4 to 7, and also offers a creche for parents who want somewhere to leave their little ones while they do the circuits.

Sea Life Benalmádena is a magical marine experience on the Costa del Sol.

Fuengirola Zoo is also one our favourite days out. Its the perfect size, where you can walk around it numerous times, whereby all the animals will be doing something different.

Dolphin World – Gibraltar

If you are visiting Gibraltar to see the Barbary Apes then take a trip to the Dolphin World too.
Dolphin World combines a fascinating cruise around one of the most visually spectacular bays in the world with a chance to see and photograph different species of dolphin, occasional Whales, flying fish, turtles and sunfish- all with commentary on the world of Dolphins.
The cruise takes around an hour and a half.

Vogelpark Loro Sexi in Almuñecar

Dit tropische vogelpark opende haar deuren in 1987 en heeft een boeiende selectie van vogels, variërend van de gewone duif tot de spectaculaire pauw, en bijna alles wat daar tussen zit, zoals papegaaien, toekans, kaketoes, zwanen, eenden en zelfs struisvogels. Beklim de paden en de lagere hellingen van de heuvel tot aan de voet van de kasteelmuren, waar de gekooide vogels verblijven en waar de cactustuin is. In de zomer zijn er regelmatig papegaaienshows voor de kinderen.

Wolvenpark

Ontdek het particuliere LOBO PARK in Antequera in het hart van Andalusië, op een uur rijden van Málaga. Het park heeft 4 verschillende wolf sub-soorten (Canadian Timber, Europees, Alaska Tundra en inheemse Iberische wolven). Het 40-hectare beschermde en ongerepte natuurpark heeft ontelbare zeldzame planten-en diersoorten. In tegenstelling tot andere parken zijn de wolven gesocialiseerd, maar NIET gedomesticeerd en leven in een seminatuurlijke omgeving. U kunt genieten van een wandeling met een gids (Spaans en Engels sprekende gidsen) om zo een beter beeld te krijgen van deze kostbare dieren in een prachtig landschap met oude eiken en een prachtig uitzicht op El Torcal.

Aquavelis in Torre del Mar – Velez Malaga = Zeer familie georiënteerd, heeft de neiging om veel meer Spaans te zijn. (Ten oosten van Malaga)

AquaLand in Torremolinos and AquaMijas trekken veel meer buitenlandse toeristen tijdens de zomermaanden

De parken hebben een aantal geweldige glijbanen, altijd komt de veiligheid op de eerste plaats. Kinderen in het bijzonder, hebben de tijd van hun leven.
Alle drie de waterparken zijn geschikt voor kleinere kinderen.
Een belangrijk punt om op te merken is dat de toegang tot afzonderlijke glijbanen gebaseerd is op de hoogte. Iets dat erg frustrerend kan zijn voor kleinere leden van de familie!

1. Water pret park in Mijas Costa : AquaMijas Park

The Parque Acuatico in Mijas is the smallest of the three, it is ideally suited to families with smaller children.You can almost sit in the middle of the park and keep an eye on them. Situated in Mijas, just off the Fuengirola bypass, the Parque Acuatico Mijas is also the least busy of the three.

 2. Water pret park :   Aqualand Torremolinos

The oldest and largest of the three water parks, Aqualand Torremolinos is part of a chain (13 water parks across Europe) operated by the Spanish tourism group Aspro Ocio. It is situated just five minutes from the center of Torremolinos and is the most popular of the three.

Over 70,000m2 in total with landscaped gardens, swimming pools and even an 18-hole mini golf course. There are a total of 19 water slides for adults and 15 slides suitable for children.

Highlights include the new ‘Boomerang’ and Europe’s highest water slide – the 22m high ‘Kamikaze’ – not for the faint-hearted!!

There are separate children’s areas and a wave pool. Like sea lions? if so, you are in luck, you can have your picture taken with sea lions in Aqualand.

 3. Water pret park in Torre del Mar, in Velez Malaga :   Aquavelis Torre del Mar

Aquavelis is situated just outside of Torre del Mar, in Velez Malaga. Its sits almost adjacent to the El Ingenio shopping center. One of the older water parks, it is a firm favorite with many of Malaga’s residents. Most of the visitors tend to be young Spanish families.

Aquavelis has a good choice of attractions, with large gardens and picnic areas. There are eight slides, including two very fast ones and a children’s one. There are also two large swimming pools, one of which, has a wave machine. The children’s area is separate with its own paddling pool and slides. Be sure to try the ‘Kamikaze’ an incredible near vertical 80m long slide.
