Gibraltar, English territory

This is the well-known piece of Britain in Spain. It does not belong in Andalusia and is an alternate exit. This rock is of high strategic importance for the control of water strait 'Strait of Gibraltar' which gives access to the Mediterranean. There are very many tourists visit this rock. There is a museum about the history of this piece of land, a fortress and the monkeys on top of the rock in the nature reserve. This rock can be reached by cable car. Obviously there are shops, you will find them all in the main street.

Gibraltar is a British enclave and you feel like you are in England. You can buy all sorts of English products and looks even the red double-decker buses. Since 1929 it just runs it right. The inhabitants are bilingual so you can be in both English and Spanish correctly. You can pay in British pounds and Euros, but the parking meters only work on pounds.
Where is the Strait of Gibraltar?
The Strait of Gibraltar is the strait (passage) between Morocco and Spain. At its narrowest point, the country is 14 kilometers apart.
Things to do in Gibraltar?
Gibraltar is ideal for a day of shopping, you will find many shops situated around the attractive harbor. It's a great place to visit and certainly in case you are looking for tax-free items. The monkeys rock in Gibraltar
Op Rock lives a monkey colony established by the British in a nature reserve. It is a mess Barbary macaques (Macaca sylvanus), which also prevent further into North Africa.
