Almuñécar

This part of the Costa del Sol is less well known. La Herradura Almunecar, together with the capital of the Costa Tropical, which is between the Costa del Sol and the coast of Almería. The area has more rugged mountains and a wonderful subtropical climate. The San Miguel Castle is the symbol of Almuñécar. The Majuelo Park is an oasis to relax with a good book. Along the coast are many watchtowers and fortifications.
